You can check into your suites and rooms from 15:00 to 22:00 on the day of arrival (until 21:00 in October). On the day of departure, your accommodation is available until 11 a.m. The reception is closed from 10 pm to 8 am.
The reception is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Full payment of the stay and a security deposit of CHF 300 in the form of a credit card authorization are required upon check-in.
For group bookings made by foreign companies, organizations, government representatives or similar institutions, the following rules apply when booking three (3) rooms or suites:
The use of certain kitchen equipment (e.g. stove and/or oven) is subject to an additional fee of CHF 250 (final cleaning costs). Cooking utensils are provided when booking the use of the kitchen.
Please note that cancellations can only be accepted in writing.
During the winter season, your refundable reservation can be cancelled and amended free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. A later cancellation, late arrival and early departure will be charged at 100% of the total booked price. It is not possible to change the booking less than 14 days before arrival. For reservations during the winter season, a deposit of 30% of the total price is required upon booking.
During summer season, your refundable reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. A later cancellation, late arrival and early departure will be charged at 100% of the total booked price. It is not possible to change the booking less than 7 days before arrival.
There are special cancellation conditions over the holidays.
In general, it is not possible to cancel a non-refundable booking. If you are still unable to travel, please contact us and we will look for a possible solution on a case-by-case basis.
Your reservation over Christmas/New Year can be canceled free of charge up to 90 days before arrival. A deposit of 30% of the total price is required upon booking. If we receive a cancellation less than 90 days before arrival, we will charge 100% of the total booking price. 90 days before arrival, the remaining 70% of the total price of the booking is due.
Summer season: May 1st to November 30th (subject to change)
Winter season: December 1st to April 30th (subject to change)
During winter season, a deposit of 30% of the total price is required upon booking. If the booking is canceled in accordance with the cancellation policy and within the cancellation period, the deposit will be refunded.

The Postresidenz am See has its own underground parking spaces and outdoor parking spaces, which can be rented by hotel guests for CHF 25 or CHF 20 per night. Parking spaces with electric charging stations are also available. It is recommended that you book the parking space when booking the suites/rooms.

Our seminar room for 10-15 people can be rented on a daily basis. Catering and additional services provided during use are charged separately. To book the seminar room and for further information, please contact reception.
There are no extra beds available in double rooms. Children up to 7 years of age who sleep in their parents' bed stay free of charge in a double room (please note when booking). Baby cots up to 3 years old are provided free of charge. For accommodation of 3 people or more, we recommend booking a 2-room or 3-room suite.
Dogs are very welcome here! Please let us know when booking if you are travelling with a dog. We ask all guests — with and without dogs — to show mutual consideration in the hotel and in the restaurant. Dogs should be calm and kept on a leash in public areas. We make sure that both people and animals can feel comfortable with us. We will provide you with a dog basket, a dog blanket and a bowl for your stay. We charge CHF 30 per dog/night.
The wellness area of the Postresidenz am See is exclusively available only to our hotel guests and is open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Child-friendly times: So that families can also enjoy the amenities of our spa area, children under 16 years of age are welcome to visit it from 16:00 to 18:00.
Please note that outside these hours, access to the spa area is only for guests over 16 years of age.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and suites at our hotel. Many rooms and suites have private balconies where smoking is allowed. Should a guest still smoke in a room or suite, a special cleaning fee of CHF 1000 (one thousand Swiss francs) will be charged.
This fee covers the costs of removing smoke odors and residues to return the room to perfect condition for future guests.
